At CinemaCon promoting Pain & Gain, director Michael Bay announced that Stanley Tucci (Captain America: The First Avenger) has been added to the cast of his fourth Transformers movie, which will begin filming next month. Tucci, most recently seen in Jack The Giant Slayer joins previously announced members Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, and Nicola Peltz in what’s being called the first of a new trilogy in the multi-billion dollar franchise. No word on character details yet, but the fourquel has been rumored to include a number of scientists and businessmen. Transformers 4 is set to hit theaters June 27th, 2014. [Coming Soon]

*Speaking of Michael Bay, we have another major addition to the cast of his upcoming reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (yes, it looks like that’s the full title now!), which he’s producing. As production on the Jonathan Liebesman-directed film continues, Danny Woodburn (Seinfeld) has landed the role of Master Splinter, who brings up the Turtles and trains them in martial arts. Megan Fox is playing April O’Neil, with Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michaelangelo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, and Alan Ritchson as Raphael. Additionally, Will Arnett has been cast in an undisclosed role. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to hit theaters June 6th, 2014. *Tom Cruise’s latest film, Oblivion, opens this week, but he isn’t moving away from sci-fi anytime soon. He’s starring in next year’s All You Need Is Kill, and is attached to Paramount’s Our Name Is Adam. The actor has added yet another gig in the genre this week, as he finalized a deal to star in Warner Bros.’ adaptation of Yukikaze, which is based on a series of Japanese sci-fi graphic novels. Like All You Need Is Kill, it follows humans in a war with aliens. No director or writer is attached yet. [Deadline]

*Brad Bird’s next live action film, Tomorrowland, is gearing for an August production start date. George Clooney and Hugh Laurie are on board to star, and it has been reported that young English actress Raffey Cassidy (seen last year in Dark Shadows and Snow White And The Huntsman) has landed a key role in the movie. She will play a child robot ” who has been around for decades. Also a key factor: She knows several fighting styles. She has a previous relationship with Clooney’s character, a bitter inventor.” This goes along with prior rumors of the film’s plot. Tomorrowland is set to hit theaters December 19th, 2014.
