42 Star Chadwick Boseman Reportedly At The Top Of The Shortlist To Play Marvel’s BLACK PANTHER

Chadwick-Boseman

Black Panther movie has been in development at Marvel Studios for a long time, and it appears that we may have  an actor set for the role of T’Challa  fairly soon. The latest casting rumor is that up and coming actor Chadwick Boseman (who stars in the successful Jackie Robinson biopic 42) is reportedly at the top of a “very short list” to play the King of Wakanda. It’s possible that the character will make a cameo in The Avengers 2 (which hits theaters May 1st, 2015) before headlining his own film in Phase Three. No offer has been made to Boseman yet, as he is only on Marvels short list for the role. This comes a few weeks after Morris Chestnut (Kick-Ass 2) was tweeting about familiarizing himself with Black Panther, and said that the character will be in The Avengers 2 first. Very interesting. Stay tuned to CMN for more on this news as it comes. [Latino-Review]
